How to BOOST your organization with an Interim Manager.

Interim Managers can often implement changes quickly, effectively and efficiently.

(2 minute read)

You know how it goes: frequently departments or entire organizations have been working the same way for "a hundred years" and are stuck in "traditional" working methods. Which, by the way, is nothing wrong with... unless you want to WIN from your competition.

In this post, I give a glimpse into my experiences with Interim Managers and as an Interim Manager.

Although change agents from within the organization can do very good work, Interim Managers often have 2 (or more) advantages:

1) They don't necessarily have to become "close friends" with everyone so that they can more easily implement less popular measures. Provided that there is support from top management, they can act more "efficiently", because in principle they do not have to consider a long-term career within the organization. This often speeds up many processes (and especially decisions).

2) They often bring new expertise, ideologies and methodologies with them. People within the organization can usually learn something from this (if they want to ;). And as a result, you often see that organizations modernize, innovate or even transform more effectively.

Are there issues within your organization in the field of Business Development, Agile project management and/or Process Optimization, where an Interim Manager could be of value?
